Version:           2.4.1 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-16-generic

When I select the KDE 'Leave' => 'Reboot' (or Sleep) it starts the reboot process but never finishes.  I have to go to Konsole and sudo reboot.

Hi, this is not a Konsole issue.  You should ask on your distributions site/mailing list.
