Description Sabine Faure 2010-04-15 13:25:00 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch KOrg
- Go to File menu/Import/Get Hot New Stuff...
- Select 'Newest' radio button
- Click on 'KOrganizer Holiday Setting for Taiwan' install button
- Click on Close
- A 'Could not load calendar ~/.kde-trunk/share/apps/korganizer//87537-holiday_tw' error message appears in a pop up dialogue
- Click on 'Ok'
- In a file browser show the hidden files (in Konqueror: View menu/Show Hidden Files)
- Go to ~/.kde-trunk/share/apps/korganizer

The '87537-holiday_tw' file has been uploaded correctly but none of the holidays mentionned in it appears in KOrg for the year 2008-2009.

No matter which Add-On you try to Install you always get an error message 'Could not load...'

So I am guessing this functionality is not yet implemented.

From what i understand you can only choose calendar files from the list.

Hum that's odd why are all the other ones displayed then?
How is the user supposed to know which ones have the proper format? Maybe a solution would be to only display the ones that have the correct format.

Would that be possible?

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
