Hi,

I have a server to that I only can connect via FTPES - FTP over Explicit TLS/SSL.

For what I see this protocol isn't supported in that many applications and currently I'm using filezilla to perform operations on the server.

So I'd be very happy to see support for FTPES in Dolphin. Any chance to make this available?

I guess that this should be implemented as a KIO instead in dolphin

If you, as the bug author, are able to change the product to KIO, change it. If not we can wait until some maintainer changes it or clone the bug.
