What I was doing when the application crashed:
After getting Kontact to work with two IMAP accounts (GMX and GMail, the latter created problems before) and testing it by sending a couple of emails to myself, which worked without any trouble, I closed it. After closing it, the crash occurred.
Work done during the last session:
- unsubscribing all of GMail folders except Inbox
- sending some emails to myself.
Everything worked properly
