Description Sam 2010-04-12 18:11:48 UTC
Version: 2.10 (using KDE 4.4.2)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-20-generic
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

For readability and consistency sake, KSpread should follow KWord and KPresenter in using a black text on white background color scheme.

Using my system colors would be a nice option in the settings for those with light color schemes, but It renders it harder to work with for dark themes.

For reference, I used
http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/darKubuntu?action=content&content=115741&PHPSESSID=cewbuhgq
for my color scheme.

Looks good in KWord and KPresenter.

+1. I use a darker KDE theme and Words and Flow present pages that are black on white, while Sheets presents pages that are system colors - in my case white a dark grey. Please at least include an option to ignore system colors.

I think this has been fixed, at least as of Calligra Sheets 3.2.1
Nowadays the application itself follows the theme, and the cells background is white-ish.
