Description Sten Heinze 2010-04-12 06:11:39 UTC
Version: libstrigiqtdbusclient0 0.7.1-1 (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

File indexing (Strigi) is suspended if the power management settings are changed or if the the battery applet is added to the plasma panel or if the power is plugged in. After a restart indexing continues to work.

To reproduce do any of the mentioned activities.

It is expected that indexing is suspended on low battery (or maybe on battery in general), possibly with a configuration option to chose. If power is plugged in or just settings are changed, the indexing should continue.

Does this still happen in 4.10?
