Description vasiliy.korchagin 2010-04-09 23:57:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

When I'm trying to open smb share in konqueror, it shows the following message:

"The requested operation could not be completed
Unexpected Program Termination
Details of the Request:
URL: smb://somehost/someshare
Protocol: smb
Date and Time: Saturday 10 of April 2010 01:36
Additional Information: smb://somehost
Description:
The program on your computer which provides access to the smb://somehost/someshare/ protocol has unexpectedly terminated.
Possible Causes:
This is most likely to be caused by a bug in the program. Please consider submitting a full bug report as detailed below.
Possible Solutions:
Update your software to the latest version. Your distribution should provide tools to update your software.
When all else fails, please consider helping the KDE team or the third party maintainer of this software by submitting a high quality bug report. If the software is provided by a third party, please contact them directly. Otherwise, first look to see if the same bug has been submitted by someone else by searching at the KDE bug reporting website. If not, take note of the details given above, and include them in your bug report, along with as many other details as you think might help."

If I open the same share in dolphin, list of files remains clean. By the way, I got following lines in .xsession-errors:

"kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/kio_smb.so

It can't be a kwallet, because bug remains even if kwallet is enabled.
