Version:           2.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-gentoo-r10

In the Edit Profile / Advanced dialog tab, there is an input text box "Word characters for double-click selection:". 

The German translation translates this as "Wortbegrenzer für Doppelklick-Auswahl", which means "Word delimiters for double-click selection" - just the opposite. 

The english version is correct...

Das Wort "Wortzeichen" gefällt mir nicht so gut; fällt da jemandem etwas besseres ein?

Es geht um Konsole (der Report war ursprüngliche gegen Konsole)
