Was updating some packages. Some were related to nvidia. I had added a new repository (ppa:nvidia-vdpau/ppa) and was performing the update.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

Opened System Settings to add new application (Kile). When package was found and downloading started, the Add/Remove application crashed and with it System Settings.
