Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

1) open kmail.
2) click on an email in a folder so that it displays in the preview pane.
3) wait.
4) when kmail does it's next interval check for email, the preview pane is blanked out.

To get the message to appear again, you must click on something else, then click on the message again.

Very annoying when it happens while you're reading the message...

Happens with both an exchange-hosted imap account, and gmail using imap.
Haven't tested local folders yet, since I'm not using them (or pop for that matter).

Note, using kmail within kontact, in case it matters.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
