Description Malte S. Stretz 2010-04-06 13:43:23 UTC
Version: 1.4 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-19-generic

I just copied a file via SFTP to my box and that broke the one special character in the file name; now I see the dreaded Unicode question mark instead. So I tried to rename the file with Dolphin and according to Dolphin the file I can clearly see doesn't exist (see screenshot). I had to go to the shell to fix this issue.

P.S.: OpenOffice thinks the file doesn't exist either. But it clearly does (I can open a cp'd version), just the file name is broken.

Thanks for the bug report! This problem is known already. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no easy way to fix it :-(
