Description Niels Ganser 2010-04-06 10:35:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When showing "Satellite View" in "Interactive" mode, the marble plasma wallpaper continuously updates sun coverage, i.e. where to show daylight satellite imagery and where to show images taken at night.

However, by suspending the system to RAM, the globe falls out of sync with the actual time of day. I thus assume that marble relies on elapsed time since booting instead of the actual time of day. I think this should be changed to check the system clock every X seconds and update sun coverage accordingly.
