Description Bert 2010-04-06 00:52:44 UTC
Version: Version 1.81 (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

after upgrade to version 1.8.1 I cannot move/copy notes by dragging them from the opened folder to another folder in the tree list.
Comment 1 sfabius 2010-04-08 17:13:22 UTC
Same here in archlinux using kdemod packages. There is a 'no' symbol (circle w/ diagonal line) when I move the note over any basket. Can add or delete, however.
Comment 2 resplin 2010-05-14 17:54:21 UTC
Confirmed on Kubuntu Lucid Lynx running BasKet 2.0-beta1 (1.0.cmake) (KDE 4.4.2)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Setup two baskets in the folder tree
2. Create a note in one basket
3. Drag it from the right pane to the other basket in the left pane (folder tree)

Expected behavior:
Should be able to drop note into other baskte

Observed behavior:
Red crossed-out circle appears and releasing the mouse button does not drop the note into the other basket.

I don't have this problem with KDE 4.5.2 and beta 2 on Kubuntu.

Do previous reporters have same problem with updated KDE?

Dragging and dropping works for me on KDE 4.6.4.

I have installed on Arch (6.1.2-arch1-1) using AUR (Baskets version 2.49-beta), and this install does not exhibit this bug.
