Version: 1.13.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33-1.slh.10-sidux-amd64 On clicking on an e-Mail that resides on my IMAP server, i always get the following error message: Error while searching. Searching of folder ACCOUNTS.freenet-de failed. The server returned: Error in IMAP command UID: Missing '"' Other mail clients do not have this problem with the same IMAP-Server. Mails are still readable, even if the error occurs
Could you attach a dump of the network traffic? What IMAP server are you trying to use (not address but software)?
Created attachment 42495 [details] a network dump at the time the error occurs
imap server is dovecot
Unfortunately the dump is of an SSL/TLS connection, could you do the same but with a plain IMAP connection (no encryption)?
After a dist-upgrade, i can't reproduce it any longer. It looks like the mail-server restart, changing the configuration and reverting to the default configuration fixed my problem. So i think it can be closed, because it's obviously not a kmail/kdepim problem. If something like that occurs again, I'll mail you the unencrypted network dump.
