Description Andreas Pietzowski 2010-03-31 16:31:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I set my cookie policy to "always ask" instead of "always accept" or "always reject". When I declare my localhost then afterwards to "always accept those cookies" it firts works. After a few hours or days (maybe new Konqueror instance?) later, visiting localhost again results in the same question again if I want to always accept, reject or session only.

This is really annoying and also appears for google and amazon and all those sites where I want a fixed policy.

Con nobody confirm this behavior? I always have to re-assign localhost to "always trust" cookies and for every other site too. It's really annoying that konqueror doesn't store the configuration for each domain.

Why is there an option "always trust/reject cookies from domain xyz" if this feature only works for a session?

Thanks for reply
Andreas

I am not sure if it is the exact same bug, but here I describe a similar problem, about konqueror resetting the cookie default policy:

Please click on the "?" (What's This help") and then click on each of the option presented in accept cookie confirmation dialog box to understand what each option does...
