Version: 1.13.1 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) "release 227", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.12-0.1-desktop I have about five different mail accounts.When I switch from one folder to another,message list takes time to update and I can see heavy disk activity.System also gets sluggish. In the message list,when I move from one message to another message,the preview takes time and again I can see heavy disk activity and slow system. I have a few search folders.If I move to any of these folders,heavy activity begins again. There is also often mismatch between message in the message list and the previewed message.Especialy when if a new mail arrives when one is reading another message,mismatch between message list and preview happens. I believe all this ought to have some common cause.
Common cause it is probably not. You have so many different problems in here, that I'm not sure what to do with this. See bugs #223439, #196949, #131507, #93158 and last but not least #219842 . So I have a problem marking this as a duplicate of only one bug - I'm closing this because of this. You may look whether this already a bug for the slow opening of mails and report that issue if not.
