Description Frank Niethardt 2010-03-28 20:51:25 UTC
Version: 1.13.1 (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

The dialog fails completely for smtp.1und1.com

Its even worse than saying "None" as even the login to send is disabled.

Reproduce:

1. Configure KMail
2. add SMTP Server
3. use address smtp.1und1.com
4. press "Check what server supports"

Expected:

STARTTLS or at least SSL and login to send

Got:

None possible, I cannot even select login

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kdepim (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
