Description Anders Lund 2010-03-27 19:28:59 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Chakra)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-ARCH

The image settings page of the print dialog has a checkbox for "auto rotate". Printing a landscape oriented image with this checked should logically result in the image being rotated to best fill the paper, no matter the selected page orientation in the printer properties, but it does not.

Attempting to print that image centered on the paper in full bleed mode resulted in a print where the sides was cut off. Page orientation was likely set to portrait, i had not changed it.

Which application is this in? The Images tab is not part of the standard Qt or KDE print dialog, so must have been added by the application you were using. So this bug needs to be reassigned to that application.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have resolved this bug.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
