Description Dave Flogeras 2010-03-26 15:35:22 UTC
Version: 1.90.0_rc1 (using KDE 4.3.5)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.4
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I had k3b open and browsed to my Home folder in the Folder Panel. I recalled that a subfolder I wished to burn was named incorrectly (Temp), so I renamed it from a konsole, causing k3b to crash.

Hi, thank for the report. Could you attach a backtrace from the crash?

Not a problem, attached.

I only had k3b and qt-gui libraries built with debug information, but I think that is most of the calls in the backtrace. Let me know if you want me to build any other libraries with debug (qt-core, kdelibs)
Comment 3 Michał Małek 2010-03-28 13:19:44 UTC
This the same problem as in bug 196509. I suspect it's kdelibs issue and it's probably fixed in KDE SC 4.4.x since I cannot reproduce it anymore.
