When trying to investiage I did the following:
1. Run kcmshell4 kcm_phonon from other user. Works fine
2. Login to safe xsession with xterm. Run "kcmshell4 kcm_phonon". Hang.
3. Remove phonon settings in .kde/share/config. Run "kcmshell4
kcm_phonon". Hang.
4. Remove ~/.pulse*. Run "kcmshell4 kcm_phonon". Hang.
5. Give up.

I can provide strace result on Monday.
