Description Maarten ter Huurne 2010-03-23 13:38:02 UTC
Application: kate (3.4.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) "release 225"
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31.12-0.1-default x86_64
Distribution (Platform): openSUSE RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
I opened Kate from KRunner (ALT-F2). It automatically reopened several files that were open the previous time I used Kate. Then I opened two more files from the command line (kate -u) and edited them. Finally, I decided to close all files by pressing CTRL-W repeatedly. After about 5 files Kate crashed.

 -- Backtrace:
Application: Kate (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault

I had no Kate application plugins active at the time of the crash.
There was one editor component plugin active: "Data Tools" (spell check).
Comment 2 Maarten ter Huurne 2010-03-23 13:46:23 UTC
I'm not very sure how many files were successfully closed before Kate crashed. It is possible it already crashed on the third file, that is, the first of the previous-session files.
