Version: 2.3.0 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-3-686-bigmem When I delete songs from my iPod nano using Amarok 2.3.0, The media browser doesn't update itself. Song count doesn't reduce and capacity bar doesn't update. I'm using standart amarok without any plugin or modification. How to reproduce: 1- Plug in the iPod (I guess any will do) 2- Mount it. Amarok automounts it too. 3- Select your least favorite song, album, artist, whatever. 4- Right click, click delete tracks, say yes. 5- Notice the same track count with unchanged capacity gauge. 6- You have just reproduced the bug, congrats! Expected behavior: 1- Plug in the iPod (I guess any will do) 2- Mount it. Amarok automounts it too. 3- Select your least favorite song, album, artist, whatever. 4- Right click, click delete tracks, say yes. 5- Song count descreases equals to the numbers of items deleted 6- Capacity gauge updates accordingly. P.S: I was unable to find a duplicate bug about it. Sorry if it's already reported.
This bug is also valid for Amarok 2.3.0.90 (2.3.1 Beta 1).
Seems to be a duplicate of 234830

Amarok 2.4-GIT, kubuntu 10.10, iPod 3g nano – amarok reported that it deleted the song, but it was still there on the iPod after unplugging and replugging (bug still present in 2.4-GIT). Could not repeat bug on iPod 2g nano because of presence of bug 213097.
This is an automated message from the triager: Amarok 2.4.1 has been released on May 8 already. Could you please upgrade and test if you can still reproduce this bug? Without feedback within a month we will close this bug as resolved. Thank you for your understanding.
Closing for lack of feedback. Feel free to reopen if you can still reproduce this with Amarok 2.4.2 beta 1 or later and provide the necessary feedback.
