Libre.fm is opensource alternative to last.fm (which is boycoted by many peoples after they started taking money for listening of radio).
It is possible now to use Amarok with libre.fm by workarounds (check libre.fm wiki for more info), but there isnt any official (and easy for newbies) way to do this.
