Description José Carlos 2010-03-21 12:09:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

Kwin is getting fluid, but I've noticed that when I use any effect such as present window, desktop grid, or even alt+tab switchers, the effect isnt fluid at all if i pick a different window (not the one i've selected at the moment of launching the effect).
If i repeat this action, once i have selected a window, and i select THE SAME, it is all right and smooth, but if i try picking another window (the previous one for example), it lags again.
I've tested it in several computers, and thats specially notorious in slower machines.

Hope i've explain myself...thx!

can you please try if the problem remains if you use a window decoration which is not using animations? That is any one except Oxygen and Aurorae.

Well, thats a surprising workaround, if i change oxygen by kde 2 for example, it seems to run al OK... Was it reported? If it was im sorry...
