When holding Ctrl+Shift+M pressed, to open a few konsole windows, after some time I got this crash:

So you get crashes when show/hiding the menubar and opening new windows?

How long to you hold the keys down?

I opened 90+ windows w/o issue.

This won't reproduce under my 4.6 RC2 setup (openSuSE 11.4).
Do you still have this bug after updating your system ?
