Description Sabine Faure 2010-03-20 02:45:45 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch KOrg
- Right click on a calendar from the resources/folders view and select 'Use as Default Calendar'
- The calendar you selected is now displayed in bold in the resources/folders view

However when you try to create a new event it is not the calendar that is selected by default in the 'Calendar:' combo box whereas I am guessing that it should be.

I confirm it.
Comment 2 Laurent Montel 2010-03-21 00:21:08 UTC
It's a pb in comboboxcollection and in collectiondialog.cpp
asyncselectionhandler doesn't work.
It's not a pb in korganizer.

I retested this today and it is nearly corrected.

The calendar set as default is displayed correctly in the New event dialogue as long as it is a local calendar.

However, when selecting a kolab calendar as a default one (ex: Calendar) then another one, (a local calendar) is displayed instead, when the new event dialogue opens.

Because of this I am reopening this bug.

Hej Sabine,

is the Kolab calendar that you selected in the view available in the combobox as well?

Ciao,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Yes the Kolab calendar is in the 'New event' combo box but it is not selected as the default one.

For me it's working since some time now.

Reopen if not.
