Version: 0.9.5 (using 4.3.5 (KDE 4.3.5) "release 0", openSUSE 11.2) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.12-0.1-default Okular have its unique tool for select images and text. The problem it's when I want to select a line and half for example. With the current tool I have to select the entire two lines and then erase all the parts that i don't want. -Sorry for my English-
Created attachment 41758 [details] A little (annoying) issue of okular The red line means "What i want to select" and the blue box means "What actually it's selected"
why don't you use the text selection tool instead of the regular "rectangle" selection tool?
Yes I found the tool for select text, but it not very intuitive. I mean, I would like that in the same tool there is the ability for select images and text, and don't enter to submenus for find the correct tool (well at least an operation very basic like copy). Thanks -Sorry for my English-
Closing as works for me since it seems okular can select several lines of text correctly, if you want to suggest a better way of organizing our selection tools please open a wish report and explain exactly what is your suggestion.
