Description Wolfram R. Sieber 2010-03-19 09:46:59 UTC
Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-0lenny4 (5.0.3))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-2-686

First of all: I know, compared to the latest releases of KDE mine is outdated. I'm aware of this as a lot of old bug reports of mine got turned down lately, closed by "wontfix".

Anyways, although I still use 3.5.9, I guess this feature isn't yet in 4.x hence the feature request valid.
.

Recently, I started integrating my personal ("home") blog/wiki and mails with KOrganizer in at least putting URLs to mail and the blog/wiki to the appointment notes field of the calendar. Even if the URLs need copy&paste rather than being clickable, this is a huge relief. Particularly the ability to have direct URLs to individual mails is gorgeous. (Possible, since my (web) mail provider has individual URLs for each of my mails. (If KMail would allow similar, that would be great; but I don't want to be greedy. ;-) )

Ok, now, the other way 'round it would be just as gorgeous if I could directly link to individual appointments in KOrganizer from my internal blog/wiki. (This is the only thing I'm asking here as a feature request.)
.

NB1: This here feature request might be related to bug #171797 but I'm too unfamiliar with XML-RPC to really decide.

NB2: Would be great if someone could bump the request to a more current version number so any of the developer team would actually get aware of it. Thanks.

KOrganizer will never be a web server.
