Description Daniel Hahler 2010-03-17 22:41:32 UTC
Version: 1.13.1 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-16-generic

I've moved a local folder to an IMAP account, which took ~15 minutes maybe.

After the operation finished, KMail displayed an error popup:

"Error opening /home/user/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/.folder.directory/subfolder; this folder is missing."

KMail should know that the folder is missing and expect this. The same applies to the user and KMail should switch to the parent folder of the one which had been moved instead.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
