Description Maciej Pilichowski 2010-03-16 18:20:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Pdf makes a distinction between logical page number and physical page number. Yet, okular uses only the second one, ignoring the logical (custom) page numbering.

For example if you have ebook, usually the counting goes like this
i, ii, iii, iv, ... 1, 2, 3...

to make the difference between cover and TOC, and "real" content (as with normal book).

Since real numbers are useful (for printing) please add and use section number and logical page numbers only for displaying purposes.

The logical page numbering is actually shown in the TOC, if the document has any.
