- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Just browsing files/folders, the crash is quite random, and happens very often. 


- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Dolphin sometimes freezes for a few seconds before crashing, it also sometimes freezes without crashing.

This bug will be fixed in KDE SC 4.4.2. Thanks for reporting!

I'm using KDE from trunk, updated yesterday, are you sure it's the same issue? It's supposed to be resolved...

Ups, sorry, I did not notice the version number :-( I'll reopen the report then.

@Peter: the crashing line in KLoadMetaDataThread::run seems to be

m_data.unite(m_model->loadData());

This issue has been fixed in KDE SC 4.5.0 - what is still open are possible freezes because of a libdbus issue. The libdbus issue has been resolved now, but requires an update to the version 1.3.2... :-(
