Compiler:          sys-devel/gcc-4.3.4 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

Since KDE-4.3.5 in kontact the Kaddressbook is no longer present.
Neither the left of the panels, an not in Menu/Settings/"Kontact setting".

In a new mail with Kmail is Kaddressbook still linked to the address bar.

Hej,

looks like you are missing the kaddressbook plugin for kontact.
Either you have not installed the package or your distributor has
not packaged it correctly.

I, have the same problem. For a test i installed Gentoo newest on a Computer. Unfortunately the same. So i think the distributor has not packaged the pluginflag correctly.
