Version: (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Selecting "Configure file sharing" in directory properties gives me the root password dialogue. Once I enter the root password and click ok, the file sharing dialogue comes up. Clicking sequentially from simple to advanced makes it use more and more ram exponentially till it explodes in OOM killer.
