Description Olaf 2010-03-12 14:04:05 UTC
Version: 1.13.1 (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

When creating a new message in kmail it is not possible to choose groups of addresses or complete address-book folder contents. Instead when clicking on "Select" which is on the right-hand-side of the "To" field, you can choose only the stuff from the old address book (kde4.3) in

     ~/.kde4/share/apps/kabc

and not from the new location in

     ~/.local/share/contacts

I'm keen to select all addresses from "Address Book Folder" and this is not possible.

best regards

Olaf

Same issue in Kubuntu 10.04 and Kmail.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
