Description Sabine Faure 2010-03-10 23:07:19 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch Korg
- Create a new event

It is impossible since the 'Calendar:' combo box is empty and greyed as well as the 'Ok' and 'Apply' buttons

- Log out and then back in
- Launch Korg
- Click on 'New Event', select a calendar, fill in information and click on 'Ok'

The event never appears in the agenda view.

- Click on 'New Event' again
The 'Calendar:' combo box is empty and greyed again.

This is a regression and the same bug was fixed on Friday by Laurent before he went on holiday.

I am setting this bug as high priority since it is a blocker that prevents me from testing anything other than the views.

I can't reproduce it.
Are you sure that there is this pb yet ?

In fact, it was quite a few nasty bugs in Akonadi according to David and Volker.
To prevent this from happening I had to set the imap server check interval to 999 minutes. So atm I do not have this bug anymore.

I'll try retesting this one when David is back tomorrow evening or on Friday so that it does not block me and prevents me from testing if it still does not work.

This bug has been preventing me to test in the Kolab calendars since last week so I'll be very happy when it's fixed!. ;o)

I retested this today and it does not happen anymore even after resetting the imap server check interval to 5 minutes.

But I am now testing with my new laptop which is a lot more powerful than my old one so that may be why.

I am closing this bug but I might reopen it if it starts to happen again.
