The switch-windows functionality (Alt+Tab) should (optionaly) include switch-to-desktop.

Usecase:
Having no window-list in the controlbar works fine, since you can also easily use Alt+Tab for that. But only as long as you do not need to switch to the "desktop", which happens fairly often in a netbook-like setup.
