It shows for me the text: New mail arrived 24 new messages in murz@mymail.com/inbox But I already see the number of unread messages in the folder via interface or tray icon. And I receive only 1-2 new messages via IMAP, but at this time have already 22 unread messages in folder, and the notify must show only 2 new messages, not 24!! And I want to see not the number of messages, but the message body and from fields for new messages. At now we can use plasmaMailChecker plasmoid - http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/plasmaMailChecker?content=140196 - it can show mail headers for each message, and group messages if you have many new mail at once. Also it can work with akonadi accounts directly and listen for new mail.
Hy, how to setup speak new mails with plasmaMailChecker ? i cant see example
Place plasmoid on desktop, go to settings and do as described in https://github.com/F1ash/plasmaMailChecker/blob/simple/EXAMPLES file - example 3 and 4
Sorry, no info in this file. If you use kdepim 4.6 or later, you You must go to "Akonadi Mail Resources", press "..." button, select needed folder, check "Enabled" and save. That's all. If you use early kdepim, you must use pop or imap accounts.

i see in system notification this plasmoid but where i can find avaible varibles when i setup read message content i get <!From color - not only message title (sytem say <...)
i try nowy mail %mail_title but not work i get less font color more some content less more less more hash less more is possible to get mail title without html tags where is list avaible vars? i think message title , sender name will by ok

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
On kmail2 notification shows only number of new messages, so it is not useful for see message body, and this feature requiest is active. As workaround we can use http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/plasmaMailChecker?content=140196 plasmoid, but much better will be see this in kmail2 core, like in thunderbird.

In 4.11 now with new notification agent we can when we have just one email so "from" + "subject" + contact photo
