Before, and with the same version of Kontact, I have been able to enter the configuration dialog. However, now it crashes consistently. When I delete kontactrc, afterwards I can configure Kontact again. I'll attach the two config files (if I find out how to do this).

Both of these variables were defined in ~/.kde/share/config/kontactrc. Plus, when I enabled/disabled akanodi via the system settings panel the value of kontact_akregatorpluginEnabled value changed accoringly. Kontact crashes without regard to akanodi state. The reason I need to get to settings is because since the upgrade to Kde 4.4 the address book is pointing to the wrong data.
Created attachment 41622 [details] New crash information added by DrKonqi Tried to open Preferences and Kontact crashed. I noticed that Kmail was not accessiable via Kontact, to change this I tried "preferences" and the application crashed. Kontact crashes everytime while try to open preferences.

Opening the preferences-window will immediately crash Kontact. Note that I'm attaching this to this bug and not to the bug this one is supposed to be a duplicate of. The call-stacks differ. I do not believe that these crashes are obviously similar.
