What I was doing when the application crashed:
I had a look at the chunks tab, saw that one chunk was being downloaded from two web locations at the same time which I thought might explain why this last remaining chunk never finished downloading despite the very decent speed -- another bug I might file one day if I find out what goes on. Anyway, I deleted all webseeds but one in the webseeds tab and went back to the chunks tab just in time to see ktorrent crash and burn.
