Description chetan 2010-03-08 10:10:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I changed appearance settings from oxygen to QTCurve. I also changed fonts to liberation Sans. All other applications are working OK. Even Gnome and KDE3!

But KPPP is still showing Oxygen style with Dejavu fonts.

Is KPPP started by a different user, such as root?
Comment 2 chetan 2010-03-09 03:47:52 UTC
No. It is started by the same user.

I observed following things today.

If I start KPPP from menu, it uses oxygen style but has all my USB modem settings.

I checked menu command from menu editor. It is "kppp".

But this command does not work in konsle. It gives error - "Permission denied"

If I start issue command - "sudo kppp" it uses my desktop appearance settings but does not have my USB modem settings.

So "sudo kppp" gives correct appearance settings but If I start KPPP from menu it uses oxygen appearance settings.

Thanks & Regards,
Chetan
