Description Chirag Anand 2010-03-08 07:28:31 UTC
Version: 1.12.2 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 6", openSUSE 11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.8-0.1-default

Everything was running as usual, I locked my machine and came back to see that the mails fom my 'inbox' folder had vanished. Its a Disconnected IMAP account of Gmail.
Only the mails of last 2 months were left and everything else had vanised. I checked the trash and every other folder, messages were nowhere to be seen and it started downloading messages from the beginning again.
I have a screenshot also, when it has downloaded some mails of 2005 (the starting year).

Sorry, this screenshot contains mails downloaded till 2007, but my account has mails till March 2010 and there has not been a single month since 2005 when I did not get any mail. REF: http://imagebin.ca/view/1MsnVRdq.html

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.

Thanks Laurent for the comment. I don't really use KMail now, so can't say whether its still there. Kudos to your efforts to keep the project alive and working still. Closing this bug for now.
