Description perrantrevan 2010-03-07 19:18:31 UTC
Version: 2.3 GIT (using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I would appreciate having the option to have album covers saved into the albums' folders.

This would mean that covers would not need to be re-downloaded in the event of reinstalling Amarok or using alternative media players.

http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/CopyCover2?content=113293 does this.

I think it's a bad solution. When you listen to the album the plugin copies the cover art, if the cover art was dowloaded from amarok before.

For example, you can download 10.000 cover arts with amarok, but the plugin doesn't copy into each album folder, only when you listen the 10.000 albums

Totally agree. Resolved? Wontfix?

I sincerely hope that future competition from other KDE media players like Bangarang encourages Amarok devs to listen to reasonable user requests...

Just because there is a script that doesn't even work correctly doesn't mean we are not going to implement it...
