Description Matthias Pospiech 2010-03-06 17:53:55 UTC
Version: 0.9.6-5 (using KDE 4.4.0)
Compiler: Win32 MSVC
OS: MS Windows
Installed from: MS Windows

I am using windows 7 32 bit. The installer for 4.4.0 had pre chosen the target installation directory as c:\program files\firefox which I changed to c:\program files\kde.

The installed proceeded as expected. It then tries to install into 'c:\program files\firefox' for every package. This is obviously wrong and very very annoying because it prints out a failure for every packages (in this case > 60 dialogs to close.

This is reproducable by proceeding the same way again. It again selects firefox as default target, I again changed it and again the dir setting is completly ignored.

With this state the installation can not be done.

Assign to correct product
Comment 2 Matthias Pospiech 2010-03-10 08:21:17 UTC
I could not assign it to the windows installer because it was not in the list of products or at least I was unable to find it.

This issue is fixed in recent versions.
