since i upgraded to kde 4.4.1, kopete fails to read passwords from kwallet on startup in maybe 1 out of 10 cases.
...having to enter 8 passwords all over again is the opposite of using a password wallet...

Might this be the timeout mentioned in bug 226270? Ie. it asks you for the account passwords when you don't unlock the wallet quickly enough?

thats exactly what happens.
i start my computer, login on kdm, go grab a coffee, and return to find almost a dozen password prompts from kopete...
