Description Tenno Seremel 2010-03-04 02:11:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

If you disable flags kxkb shows some gray background with letters in the tray. It's looks really ugly (especially with composition enabled) and hard to read.

I think this background should be removed. kxkb should simply display letters (with a text color according to a current plasma theme).

Currently kxkb is being rewritten as a kded daemon and plasma applet, hopefully that will make it in KDE4.5 and will look better.

Fixed in trunk - will be available in 4.5
