Version: (using KDE 4.4.0) Installed from: Unspecified Linux No matter what language the Kopete application is in, some chats will be in English (LTR) and some in Hebrew/Arabic/Farsi (RTL). Therefore, when the user selects RTL or LTR for the chat window's input field, after he presses Enter it should stay how the user configured, not go back to the default.
I agree, this is an annoying bug and should be fixed.
Is this still relevant?

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
