What I was doing when the application crashed:
I chose several pics from an album and wanted to upload them via digikam to picasa. Digikam crashed in about 50% (or more) of the usecases.

Which kipi-plugins version you use. this bug have been fixed since 1.1.0 release.

ok, that's it then. Ubuntu karmic still uses kipi-plugins 1.0.0

Please try with 1.1 when it's possible and report again here to close this file if it's fixed.
