Description Mark 2010-02-28 17:00:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

Hi,

I can't imagine this hasn't been asked before but i can't seem to find it in the bug reports / wish lists.

I tried out those activity's and found it irritating that all my plasma settings are for all activity desktops. So for example if i have a panel somewhere in one activity i need to have it in all activity's because there is simply no option to disable a plasmoid or panel in one activity while having it active in another one.

It would be nice if a different activity could also have a completely different plasma setup as in theme and positions.

What do you think about it? And could this be implemented in KDE 4.5? Or is it already in KDE but am i just missing it?

Thanx,
Mark

Hello!

This feature request was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this feature request is already implemented in Plasma 5, or is no longer applicable.

Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this feature request. If the requested feature is still desired but not implemented in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting

If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging

Thanks for your understanding!

Nate Graham
