Description sonic 2010-02-28 13:46:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I got kmail error when I have no internet connection: "Error while checking account mailbox POP for new mail: Unknown host mail.botik.ru". It's OK. That's right because my internet is off. But when my internet connection is on I still have the same error when I try to check mail. The error disappeared only when i reload my kmail.

Thank you)

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
