Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

KLineEdit seems to have several options for completion however they are somewhat confusing. It's hard to tell the difference between none* and manual, automatic, and semi-automatic (what's that supposed to mean anyway?). The only thing that is obvious is a drop-down option.

With digikam and it's tag tree (see link below) it was not obvious what option you need to actually get what you want. Actually I though it was a bug at first.

I think naming of these options can be improved. I'm not sure what should they be named though.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.
